Chainlink debuts privacy tech, triggerring LINK’s rise to multi-week high
Chainlink's LINK token reached a peak of $12.16, driven by the launch of the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) Private Transactions aimed at enhancing privacy for financial institutions. The token has risen approximately 6% this month and 4% in the past week, with a market capitalization of around $7.5 billion. The CCIP solution allows private blockchains to connect securely with other chains, addressing privacy issues that hinder regulatory compliance. Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) is among the first to adopt this technology, facilitating cross-chain settlements of tokenized real-world assets under Singapore’s Project Guardian. Chainlink's Blockchain Privacy Manager enables institutions to set privacy parameters for transactions, concealing sensitive information while revealing necessary details. Additionally, Chainlink introduced DECO, a privacy-preserving data verification system utilizing zero-knowledge proofs. As of October 22, 2024, Chainlink ranks #14 in market cap, with a price of $12.11 and a 24-hour trading volume of $261.56 million.
