Chainlink Sees 296% Jump In Large Transactions As Active Addresses Rise 14.7%, What’s Going On?
Chainlink whale activity has surged, with whale transactions increasing by 295.93%. On September 22, there were 65 large transactions valued at over $100,000, which doubled to 130 by September 23. The volume of LINK tokens moved rose from 1.86 million to 7.28 million, translating to a jump from $20.71 million to $82.01 million. Daily active addresses also increased from 1,810 to 2,070, a rise of 14.72%. The adoption of Chainlink's Proof of Reserves mechanism by 21.co for its 21BTC token is driving this renewed interest. This development aims to enhance transparency and leverage Chainlink's features across Solana and Ethereum. Despite the increased activity, LINK's price remains around $11, with only modest gains of about 5% over the past week.
