Digital Asset Funds Flip Positive for First Time in 4 Weeks: CoinShares
Digital asset investment products experienced $441 million of net inflows last week, ending a three-week period of net outflows. The last time net inflows were registered was in the week ending June 7, with investors adding over $2 billion. Bitcoin accounted for $398 million of these inflows, which is unusual as it typically represents only 90% of the total. Solana also stood out, with SOL-linked products registering $16 million. CoinShares attributes these flows to recent price weakness caused by the defunct crypto exchange Mt. Gox preparing to initiate repayments to creditors and the German government's law enforcement agency moving large amounts of bitcoin to exchanges. Despite this, blockchain equities saw $8 million in outflows, bringing their year-to-date total to $556 million.
