Dogecoin Hodlers Surge In 2025: Will Price Skyrocket Next?

Summary

Dogecoin (DOGE) has added over 29,000 new wallets since January 1, 2025, indicating a growing community of holders. Ethereum and XRP also saw significant increases in wallet numbers, with Ethereum gaining 645,000 and XRP 58,000. Bitcoin added 102,000 wallets, while Cardano increased by 2,800. Chainlink, however, experienced a decline of 3,300 wallets. Despite these increases, overall trading volumes in the crypto market have decreased by an average of 13% since mid-December 2024, attributed to seasonal factors and regulatory uncertainties. Dogecoin's Mean Value to Realized Value (MVRV) stands at -8.89%, suggesting potential buying opportunities. Technical analysis shows DOGE has dipped below key Fibonacci levels, with critical support at $0.346. Failure to reclaim this level may lead to further declines toward $0.26.
