Drift exploiter sends $109M in Ether to Tornado Cash in 2 days

A wallet linked to the Drift exploiter sent 18,800 ETH, worth about $46 million, to Tornado Cash on Wednesday, following a $61 million transfer the previous day. The two-day total reached 44,510 ETH ($109 million), nearly 37% of the $295 million stolen from the Solana-based DEX in April. Exploiter-labelled wallets still held 56,569 ETH, worth roughly $138 million. Mandiant attributed the attack to a North Korean threat group. Drift has opened claims and redemptions for recovery tokens backed by a pool initially funded with about $3.1 million, plus exchange revenue and any recovered funds.
