Ethereum At $9,200, XRP At $5,800, And Solana At $3,400? Analyst Says This Is Not Possible
Cryptocurrency prices have shown slow but steady gains, with Bitcoin leading the way while most altcoins lag. Samson Mow criticized the misleading unit bias in altcoin valuations, arguing that prices for Ethereum ($9,200), XRP ($5,800), and Solana ($3,400) are unrealistic given their supply. He suggested applying Bitcoin's supply model to altcoins, highlighting that Bitcoin's total supply is capped at 21 million units, with 19.85 million currently in circulation. This scarcity contributes to Bitcoin's perceived value compared to altcoins. Mow believes Bitcoin's dominance will strengthen due to increasing institutional interest and ETF inflows, despite some analysts predicting a potential altcoin season and a drop in Bitcoin's dominance from its current high of 63.5%. As of now, Bitcoin trades at $88,530, Ethereum at $1,620, Solana at $140, and XRP at $2.09.
