Ethereum bridge users have 24 hours to exit before chain shuts down after just 5 week warning
Powerloom will permanently shut down at 6:00 AM UTC on July 21. Users holding transferable on-chain assets, including POWER, must bridge them to Ethereum before then or risk losing access once the chain stops producing blocks and its state becomes inaccessible. The bridge is still active, but it only works for balances already available on Powerloom. Reward claims, unstaking, and node-burn actions ended when mint.powerloom.network went offline on July 16, and those funds are no longer recoverable. The shutdown is driven by Powerloom’s conclusion that it lacks a sustainable operating model, ongoing demand, and sufficient resources. POWER already held on Ethereum is unaffected, and the immutable Ethereum ERC-20 contract remains accessible.
