Ethereum ETFs Record Best Day in 4 Months With $125 Million in Investments
Spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw $125 million in inflows on Tuesday, marking the highest daily performance since early February. BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA) accounted for $80 million of this total. Ethereum's price rose above $2,800, reaching $2,853, a 4.8% increase, the highest since the onset of the U.S.-China trade war. Analysts attribute Ethereum's recent strength to SEC Chair Paul Atkins' comments on potential regulatory relief for decentralized finance (DeFi) entities. Spot Ethereum ETFs have accumulated $745 million over an 11-day streak and approximately $3.5 billion since their launch last July. This uptick indicates renewed confidence among institutional investors. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin projected a tenfold improvement in transaction processing capacity over the next year, advocating for scaling solutions on the main network to alleviate congestion.
