Ethereum Treasury SharpLink's Holdings Reach $1.3 Billion With Latest ETH Purchase
SharpLink Gaming's total Ethereum (ETH) holdings exceed 360,000, valued at $1.3 billion based on current prices. The firm acquired 79,949 ETH last week, spending $48 million on July 14 and continuing purchases thereafter. SharpLink aims to enhance ETH concentration and shareholder value through disciplined treasury growth strategies. The company's stock recently traded at nearly $28, reflecting a 10% increase and a 206% rise over the past month. To support its ETH acquisition efforts, SharpLink plans to increase a stock sale from $1 billion to $6 billion. Ethereum reached a peak of $3,848 recently and is currently trading around $3,700 after a 25% increase in a week. Other companies, like Bit Digital and BitMine Immersion, are also increasing their Ethereum holdings, following a model established by Strategy, which transitioned from software to Bitcoin purchasing.
