Ethervista launches on Ethereum, aims to outshine Pump.fun with secure liquidity locks
Ethervista is a new decentralized exchange (DEX) on the Ethereum network that allows users to create and launch memecoins, similar to Solana's Pump.fun. It features a 5-day liquidity lock for creators to prevent rug pulls, promoting long-term project success by rewarding creators with liquidity and protocol fees based on trading volume. Ethervista's first token, VISTA, is deflationary with a capped supply of 1 million and includes an automatic buyback and burning mechanism, having already burned over 2.17% of its supply. The platform has gained traction, consuming over 150 ETH in gas fees, and one trader reportedly turned $5,000 into $670,000 within 48 hours trading VISTA. Meanwhile, Pump.fun has reached $100 million in revenue in just over seven months, becoming the fastest-growing protocol by revenue in the crypto space, amid increasing competition from projects like SunPump on the TRON network.
