Gemini Launches Zcash Credit Card That Pays ZEC Rewards
Gemini has launched a new crypto credit card featuring the privacy-focused Zcash (ZEC) token, expanding its existing lineup of Bitcoin, Solana, and XRP-themed cards. The Zcash Edition offers up to 4% crypto rewards on purchases with no annual fee, and users can choose from over 50 cryptocurrencies for reward payouts. Cardholders who held ZEC rewards for at least a year saw gains of over 900%. ZEC ranks among the top ten crypto reward choices for Gemini cardholders. Recently, Gemini, alongside partners like WebBank, Ripple, and MasterCard, began exploring Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin for credit card settlements. In related news, Gemini completed its public offering at $28 per share, reaching a peak before declining over 75% to $9.12. The SEC recently dropped its lawsuit against Gemini regarding its Earn program. ZEC has surged 750% over the past year despite a recent price drop and internal developer changes.
