HashKey receives JPMorgan approval to open client money account
Summary
HashKey Exchange, a Hong Kong-licensed crypto exchange, has received approval from JPMorgan Chase to open a client money account. The account will be used to segregate customer funds and handle settlement through JPMorgan’s banking infrastructure. This comes shortly after HashKey Holdings merged the separate HashKey Exchange and HashKey Global applications into one portal. The exchange also recently activated a customer funds account with DBS Bank in Singapore, allowing fiat deposits, withdrawals, and settlement services. HashKey Holdings went public in Hong Kong in December after raising $206 million in an oversubscribed IPO.
