HYPE treasury firm Hyperliquid Strategies boosts equity facility to $2.5B
Hyperliquid Strategies expanded its equity financing facility with Chardan Capital Markets from $1 billion to $2.5 billion, increasing its capacity to sell newly issued shares and raise cash for its HYPE treasury strategy. The filing says Chardan can buy shares over time under set pricing and trading conditions, then resell them in the market. The larger facility does not mean the full amount has been raised; it only sets the maximum available funding. Hyperliquid Strategies had already raised $647 million through the facility and grown its treasury to about 29.3 million HYPE tokens. The move gives the company more financing flexibility, but further use would dilute existing shareholders. The expansion comes amid renewed interest in HYPE, which rallied after comments from Donald Trump about bringing Hyperliquid into the US in a compliant way.
