Institutions dumped Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs but still bought XRP and HYPE again
U.S. crypto ETF flows split sharply from June 22–26. Bitcoin ETFs saw about $1.79 billion in outflows and Ethereum ETFs about $273.5 million, signaling broad reduction in core crypto exposure. At the same time, some altcoin wrappers still جذب capital: XRP spot ETFs took in $22.99 million, led by Bitwise and Franklin Templeton, and HYPE products added about $111.4 million. SOL was slightly negative overall. The pattern looks more like fragmentation than a clean rotation. Investors appear to be reducing broad BTC/ETH beta while still making selective bets on specific assets, networks, or product structures. XRP’s inflow is notable because it moved opposite the larger redemptions, but HYPE’s larger inflow suggests the signal is broader than one token. Confirmation would require several more weeks of the same divergence.
