Intel, IBM, Oracle and IonQ latest to object to OKX-ICE tokenized stocks
Summary
Intel, IBM, Oracle and IonQ have objected to having their US stocks listed in tokenized form on the proposed OKXICE exchange, bringing the total to 26 companies. OKXICE initially proposed tokenized listings for 62 companies, so about 41% have opted out. The plan follows the SEC’s approval of temporary innovation exemptions allowing limited trading in tokenized US stocks. Andrew Cuomo, a co-chair of the venture, said objections were expected and more could follow.
