JPMorgan, Coca-Cola Among 7 More Companies Objecting to OKX-ICE Tokenized Stocks
Summary
Seven more companies, including JPMorgan Chase, Coca-Cola and Dell, have objected to OKXICE TSV’s planned tokenized-stock venue, bringing the total to 33. Under an SEC innovation exemption, a venue must notify issuers before offering third-party tokenized shares; a written objection within 30 days bars that stock from trading on that venue. The objections apply only to OKXICE TSV, and issuers have not disclosed their reasons. The joint venture between Intercontinental Exchange and OKX plans 24/7 trading of tokenized U.S. stocks through permissioned Uniswap pools on XLayer, using stablecoins. Major companies including Nvidia, Tesla, Apple and Amazon have not objected so far.
