LiFi integrates with Solana to enhance dApp cross-chain interactions

Summary

DeFi protocol Li.Fi is expanding into the Solana ecosystem to improve user experience across decentralized applications (dApps) by facilitating cross-chain interactions. This move comes after Li.Fi suffered a $10 million hack on the Ethereum and Arbitrum networks, which has since been resolved. The expansion builds on Li.Fi's initial connection with Solana’s Phantom wallet, enabling in-app swapping and bridging capabilities for Solana users through Wormhole-powered Mayan bridge and Circle’s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP). Li.Fi has also integrated with Jupiter, a Solana-based DEX, to offer cost-effective and efficient swapping rates. The integrations are live through the Li.Fi API, SDK, and Widget. Future plans include supporting SVM chains, starting with Eclipse and expanding to other chains. This expansion is expected to attract more users to the Solana ecosystem and generate revenue from asset-swapping fees while providing new liquidity opportunities.
