LND Tests A Guardrail Against Extreme External Bitcoin Fee Estimates
Summary
LND 0.21.5-rc1 adds a cap of 10,000 satoshis per virtual byte to external fee estimates, including the minimum-relay estimate, preventing extreme or faulty API values from flowing unchecked into wallet operations. The candidate also fixes a deadlock in the native SQL connection pool. It is a pre-release, requires no database migration, and includes signature and binary-verification instructions.
