NIP Group Signs Bitcoin Miner Purchase To Add 4.47 Exahash Of Capacity
NIP Group agreed to acquire already operating Bitcoin mining machines with about 4.47 EH/s of capacity, using up to 247,091,740 Class A shares as consideration. The deal is subject to closing. If completed, the company expects its combined mining capacity across acquisitions to reach about 13.85 EH/s, with estimated output of around 195 BTC per month at full deployment. That projection depends on network difficulty, uptime, power costs and other factors, and is not guaranteed. The expansion adds mining alongside NIP Group’s entertainment and infrastructure businesses; the company also points to possible AI infrastructure opportunities, though Bitcoin mining hardware is not interchangeable with AI accelerators. Closing, production and energy economics will determine the deal’s impact.
