Paradigm Special Counsel Has Left the Crypto-Focused VC Firm

Rodrigo Seira has left his position as special counsel at cryptocurrency-focused venture capital firm Paradigm to return to his previous employer, law firm Cooley LLP. Seira, a Harvard Law School graduate, had previously provided counsel to crypto investors and entrepreneurs at Cooley and was a founding member of DLX Law, a blockchain and crypto-focused boutique. During his tenure at Paradigm, Seira established the firm's Policy Lab, a platform for academics, policy experts, lawyers, and technologists to research policy issues related to cryptocurrency. Last month, Paradigm was reportedly seeking to raise between $750 and $850 million for a new fund.
