Polygon Gets Live Euro-Dollar Onchain FX Pool With EURe And frxUSD

Monerium, Frax and Capa launched an EURe/frxUSD pool on Uniswap v3 on Polygon on October 1, enabling direct onchain swaps between a euro-backed electronic-money token and a dollar stablecoin. The pool could let payment and treasury applications convert currencies and settle on the same network, reducing reliance on offchain FX intermediaries. Its practical value will depend on liquidity depth, spreads, slippage and real-world adoption. Polygon said it processed about $80 billion in stablecoin volume in May.
