Pragma flags 6 price feeds as critical risk following $3.5M Starknet lending exploit
Pragma’s Sept. 18 liquidity assessment rated six of 22 mainnet market and rate feeds critical risk, including NSTR, after a Sept. 17 exploit at Starknet lender Nostra. Nostra said a manipulated NSTR oracle price let an account borrow about $3.5 million against the token. Pragma found that oracle valuations for several tokens could diverge sharply from executable sale quotes, warning that available prices do not guarantee enough liquidity for liquidation. It said the incident involved a manipulated on-chain pool, not a decimals or median-calculation error; a three-source minimum could have rejected the affected response. Nostra paused lending, borrowing, withdrawals and liquidations while assessing losses and recoveries. Pragma said the attacker’s address was frozen and recovery work continued; later withdrawal and recovery status was unconfirmed.
