Ripple Secures Another Key European License as XRP Rises
Ripple has received preliminary approval for an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license from Luxembourg's financial regulator, CSSF, shortly after securing similar approval from the UK's Financial Conduct Authority. This step strengthens Ripple’s position to expand its cross-border payment services across Europe, supported by the EU’s clear digital assets regulatory environment. Ripple now holds more than 75 regulatory licenses globally, and its Ripple Payments platform covers over 90% of daily foreign exchange markets, processing over $95 billion to date.
