Robinhood Chain is weighing new payment-based transaction ordering system
Summary
Robinhood Chain is evaluating Arbitrum’s Priority Gas Auctions, which let traders pay higher fees to have individual transactions processed ahead of others. The network currently orders transactions first-come, first-served and has not used Arbitrum’s earlier Time Boost system. The evaluation comes as Robinhood expands its onchain tokenized-stock business and its Layer-2 chain has entered the top 10 by total value locked. Fee-based prioritization could help traders compete for time-sensitive opportunities and limit frontrunning, though the system would give paying users faster execution. Robinhood declined to comment, and Arbitrum’s developer did not respond.
