SEC Acknowledges Bitcoin ETF Options Request, Invites Public Feedback

The US SEC is seeking public comments on introducing Bitcoin spot ETF options trading. NYSE has applied for a rule change to allow options trading on Bitwise Bitcoin ETF, Grayscale Bitcoin Trust, and other Bitcoin-backed trusts. Nasdaq has also proposed a similar plan for BlackRock's spot ETF. Analysts predict SEC approval as early as March or by September 21 at the latest. The SEC has invited public feedback for 21 days.
