Solana, Bitget Join Ondo Finance’s ‘Market Alliance’
Ondo Finance has launched the Global Markets Alliance, a partnership with eight cryptocurrency wallets, custodians, and exchanges, to promote the adoption of onchain financial assets. Members include the Solana Foundation, Bitget Wallet, Jupiter Exchange, Trust Wallet, Rainbow, BitGo, Fireblocks, 1inch, and Alpaca. The initiative aims to establish standards for interoperability of tokenized stocks and bring capital markets onchain. Ondo Finance specializes in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization and has introduced a layer-1 blockchain for institutional assets, offering tokenized treasury products backed by US government debt. Users have committed nearly $1.4 billion to the Ondo ecosystem. The RWA tokenization market has expanded by 260% this year, reaching a valuation of $23 billion as of June, driven by demand for US financial products and favorable regulations. Companies like Alchemy Pay and Robinhood are also entering the RWA market with new tokenized offerings.
