Soluna And Bitdeer Add 7 MW To Texas Bitcoin Mining Deal
Soluna and Bitdeer are expanding their Bitcoin mining partnership at Project Kati 1 in South Texas before the initial deployment is fully complete. Bitdeer will add about 7 MW of mining equipment, bringing its planned total at the site to 35 MW. Bitdeer owns and supplies the hardware, while Soluna provides the data-center site, power, and operating infrastructure; both share mining proceeds. The added capacity is expected to raise Bitdeer’s hash rate at Kati 1 to about 2.42 EH/s, using Sealminer A2 Pro Air machines, with completion targeted for November. The expansion fully subscribes the K1BC phase of the project. The arrangement reflects a co-mining model that gives Soluna direct exposure to Bitcoin output and gives Bitdeer access to power and infrastructure without building a new site.
