Stellar tokenized RWA market more than quadruples to nearly $4B
Stellar’s tokenized real-world assets have risen about 360% in 2026, reaching nearly $4 billion from $868.8 million at year-end last year. As of Aug. 29, RWA market cap stood at $3.996 billion, spanning US Treasurys, private and public credit, non-US government debt and other tokenized assets. Growth is highly concentrated: Spiko held $1.55 billion, followed by Realiz, Tradable, Franklin Templeton and Ondo. Stellar has also built a strong position in non-US sovereign debt, with about $490 million in tokenized assets such as Mexican CETES and Brazilian bonds. Institutional adoption is helping drive expansion. DTCC plans to connect its tokenization service to Stellar, while Tradable aims to bring up to $1 billion in private credit to the network. MoneyGram also launched its MGUSD stablecoin on Stellar. Despite the RWA boom, XLM is down about 11% year to date.
