Strive adds 469 Bitcoin to reach 25,000 BTC treasury
Strive bought 469 Bitcoin for about $36.6 million between Sept. 8 and Sept. 11 at an average price of $77,954 per BTC, lifting its total holdings to 25,000 BTC. The purchase was funded entirely by sales of SATA perpetual preferred stock, which has now exceeded $1 billion in notional value outstanding. As of Sept. 11, Strive also held $204.2 million in cash and 505,000 shares of Strategy’s STRC preferred stock worth about $49.8 million. The company became the fifth-largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder in late August and has been benefiting from a strong stock rally, with shares up more than 7% on Monday and more than doubling over the past month. Its market cap has risen to about $2.5 billion. The stock is now above the $27 warrant exercise price, which could bring in more than $700 million if warrants are exercised.
