Swiss state-owned bank PostFinance launches ETH staking
PostFinance, a Swiss government-owned retail bank, is introducing Ether staking for its 2.7 million customers. The service requires a minimum investment of 0.1 Ether, approximately $331, with a fixed term of twelve weeks. Customers can sell credited staking rewards, and the service integrates with existing PostFinance offerings, allowing users to view staking rewards alongside other crypto assets. Currently, only Ether is available for staking, but PostFinance plans to expand to other cryptocurrencies. The total staked Ether has increased significantly, with over 33 million currently staked. PostFinance has previously ventured into crypto by launching trading and custody services in collaboration with Sygnum and developing a crypto custody platform.
