Tokenized RWA surge to $4T may push LINK to $200 by end 2030: Standard Chartered
Standard Chartered’s Geoff Kendrick forecasts strong growth for Chainlink as tokenized assets expand. He expects tokenized real-world assets to reach $4 trillion by end-2028 and tokenized plus crypto-native assets used in DeFi to hit $2.7 trillion by end-2030. That growth would require more secure onchain data, interoperability, compliance tools, and financial-system integration, which could boost Chainlink’s fee revenue and push LINK to $200 by 2030 from about $8 now. The report notes rising demand for tokenization, with DEX trading in tokenized RWAs hitting a record $141 billion in July. Chainlink remains the leading decentralized oracle network, securing $34.4 billion in value. Risks include slower institutional adoption, stronger competition from specialized oracle providers, and technical setbacks.
