Trump Crypto Wallet Goes Dark Following Cease and Desist
The crypto wallet linked to President Donald Trump’s meme coin became inaccessible for many users after receiving a cease and desist letter from another Trump-associated crypto project. The wallet, launched in partnership with NFT marketplace Magic Eden, aimed to offer TRUMP tokens to users on its waitlist and facilitate cryptocurrency trading across blockchains. Trump's sons were unaware of this wallet's launch, as they have been developing their own Trump-branded crypto wallet through World Liberty Financial. Following the wallet's debut, Trump's sons publicly disapproved of the branding. World Liberty sent a cease and desist letter to the LLC behind the meme coin and Magic Eden. Reports indicated that the Trump Wallet website was down, although its social media account remained active. It is unclear if Trump himself has intervened in the dispute among his business partners.
