Visa and Mastercard adopt USDC payouts across 200 countries
Summary
Visa and Mastercard launched commercial stablecoin funding routes for eligible businesses. Visa Direct clients can prefund cross-border payouts with USDC through Inyo Global, using existing APIs and near-real-time funding. BVNK offers accounts, conversion and payment services via portal or API; USDC and OUSD are supported. Nuvei and Marqeta are planned early integrators. Mastercard targets coverage of more than 40 currencies and 200-plus countries and territories by 2027. The announcements provided no data on payment volumes or realized fee savings.
