XRP Falls to 2-Week Low as Ripple Deploys AI to Boost Ledger Security
Ripple has implemented an AI-powered security overhaul for the XRP Ledger, introducing automated testing tools and a specialized red team that has already discovered over 10 bugs. AI systems will now be used throughout the development process, including adversarial code scanning for every pull request and automated stress testing. The red team evaluates the interaction of new and legacy features in realistic conditions. The next XRP Ledger software release will focus entirely on bug fixes and security improvements, with no new features planned, reflecting a shift to prioritize stability. Ripple will mandate multiple independent security audits for major changes and expand its bug bounty program. These measures aim to ensure XRPL's ongoing reliability as a global payments and financial infrastructure. At the time of the announcement, XRP was trading at $1.34, down 5% for the day, marking its lowest point in over two weeks and a 63% decline from its all-time high of $3.65 set in July.
