XRP Ledger Proposes 4 Fixes for Restricted Token Rules
Summary
XRP Ledger developers proposed four fixes, grouped under amendment fixCleanup3_5_0, to enforce issuer authorization more consistently for restricted tokens. The changes would prevent unapproved accounts from acquiring automated-market-maker pool shares or receiving additional tokens through existing trust lines. Unauthorized holders would generally be able only to return tokens to the issuer unless approved. The fixes are not merged or active on mainnet and require sustained validator support for two weeks. The XRP Ledger Foundation called the work routine protocol hardening and said it knew of no outsider exploiting the identified exceptions.
