XRP Rich List: Top 20 Wallets Control Over 50% Of Supply, But Who’s Number 1?
XRP, the cryptocurrency of the Ripple network, has recently surged in price, making it the third-largest cryptocurrency by market cap. As of January 25, 2025, XRP has a total supply of 100 billion tokens, with approximately 57.64 billion in circulation. The top 10 addresses hold about 20.99% of the circulating supply, while the top 50 addresses control approximately 53.3%. Ripple Labs owns around 46 billion XRP tokens, mostly locked in escrow, with a significant amount of liquid XRP available. Co-founder Chris Larsen is the largest individual holder with over 5 billion tokens. Major exchanges like Binance and Upbit also hold substantial reserves. Despite concentration among a few stakeholders, the holdings are primarily associated with exchanges, representing assets of many individual users. XRP is currently trading at $3.10, having recently peaked at $3.38.
