1inch co-founder says he was fired, announces new venture
Summary
Anton Bukov said he is fully exiting 1inch’s operations after more than seven years to start a new project, Second Tier. He said he remains a co-founder with 50% ownership, but no longer has any role in operations, product architecture, security, or oversight. Bukov also claimed he was fired in November 2025 after pushing for changes in management and operations. 1inch disputed his account, saying he had not been actively involved in related organizations since December 2025. Co-founder Sergej Kunz remains in charge and said Bukov’s departure will not affect 1inch Network’s infrastructure or systems.
