Allbridge Core pauses cross-chain bridge after $1.65M exploit

Summary

Allbridge Core paused its cross-chain stablecoin bridge after a security incident that drained about $1.65 million from its Solana deployment. The attacker reportedly used a $1.12 million USDC flash loan from Kamino, then performed rapid swaps to distort the pool’s exchange rate, withdrew liquidity at manipulated prices, repaid the loan, and bridged the stolen funds from Solana to Ethereum before moving them into privacy pools. Allbridge Core warned users with funds in affected pools to withdraw immediately. The exploit is the latest in a wave of bridge attacks, following recent incidents involving Taiko, Secret Network, Gravity Bridge, Verus Bridge, and Butter Network.
