Avail Data Availability Integrated by Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, StarkWare, ZkSync

Summary

Blockchain project Avail announced that five major layer-2 networks in the Ethereum ecosystem, namely Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, StarkWare, and zkSync, will integrate with its data availability (DA) solution. Users can choose to use Avail for data storage, which is a cheaper and faster method than storing on the main Ethereum blockchain. Avail's DA is currently in testnet but is expected to go live soon. The company also plans to release a token airdrop, with users of these rollups eligible for the AVAIL token. Additionally, Avail announced two upcoming core products: Nexus, a layer connecting different rollups through the Avail ecosystem, and Avail Fusion, which will use the security of crypto assets like ether or bitcoin to enhance Avail’s security.
