Bitcoin Could Jump 20% For Every 1% Liquidity Boost: Expert
Bitcoin's significant second-quarter rise aligns with record global liquidity expansion, as noted by Real Vision's chief crypto analyst Jamie Coutts. His Global Liquidity Index reached an all-time high on April 10, coinciding with a 40% Bitcoin rally since that date. Coutts suggests that each 1% increase in liquidity could lead to over a 20% price increase for Bitcoin. The GLI, which combines central bank balance sheets and money aggregates, has only increased by 2% since April, yet Bitcoin's market value has doubled the expected response. Current liquidity trends remain bullish, with expectations of modest growth in global liquidity over the next few years. If these projections hold, Bitcoin could see substantial gains before 2030. At the time of reporting, Bitcoin was priced at $107,676.
