Bitcoin & Crypto Excluded From Democratic Party’s Latest Policy Agenda Release
The Democratic Party's latest platform did not mention Bitcoin or digital assets, disappointing hopes for a potential shift in the party's stance on crypto. Vice President Kamala Harris, who was expected to influence the party's approach, has been consulting advisors known for their anti-crypto views. The absence of key crypto-related proposals in the platform and the party's failure to address critical issues has left the crypto community disillusioned. In contrast, the Republican Party, led by former President Donald Trump, openly supports Bitcoin and opposes the development of a Central Bank Digital Currency. Despite this, prediction markets still favor Harris over Trump. Bitcoin briefly reached $59,000 but failed to consolidate above $60,000.
