Bitcoin ETFs extend outflow streak as BTC fails to hold $65K
US-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs saw four straight days of outflows, with investors pulling about $49.8 million in the latest session and roughly $526 million total over the streak. The biggest withdrawals came on July 23 and 24, at about $225 million and $240 million. The selling came as Bitcoin briefly fell to around $63,000 after failing to stay above $65,000. Even with the recent redemptions, Bitcoin ETFs still hold strong year-to-date demand, with cumulative net inflows of $51.3 billion and total net assets of $77.2 billion as of July 28. The outflows followed a seven-day inflow run of nearly $1 billion, underscoring renewed volatility. Market commentary pointed to weaker spot trading activity on major exchanges, suggesting Bitcoin may need stronger demand and better conditions to resume a clear bullish trend.
