Bitcoin Firm Strive Climbs Up the Treasury Ranks With Another Big Buy
Summary
Strive disclosed buying 124 Bitcoin for about $10 million, bringing its holdings to 43,124 BTC, worth roughly $3.3 billion. It ranks fourth among publicly traded Bitcoin holders, narrowly behind Twenty One Capital and Metaplanet. The purchase was funded mostly from cash, with proceeds from the first sale of its SATS preferred shares covering the remainder. SATS pays a 15% annual dividend, and Strive has launched a program to sell up to $1 billion more. Its Bitcoin holdings are currently worth less than their average purchase cost. CEO Matt Cole said becoming the second-largest public Bitcoin holder by the end of 2026 is possible, though not his base case.
