Bitcoin Lightning Exchange FixedFloat Sees 'Suspicious' Transfers of $3M to Ethereum, Tron
Summary
Over $3 million in suspicious transactions were sent from Bitcoin Lightning-based exchange FixedFloat, according to security firm CertiK. The funds were moved in ether (ETH) and tether (USDT) to wallets on the Ethereum and Tron networks. Around $2 million of the funds were deposited in eXch, similar to a previous incident at FixedFloat on February 16, with an additional $100k USDT deposited to a Binance wallet on Tron. FixedFloat's website is currently down for technical work and the exchange confirmed it had faced a technical error, but did not comment on the suspicious transfer activity.
