CF Benchmarks brings Wall Street pricing infrastructure onchain, including data used by BlackRock

Summary

CF Benchmarks, whose indices support products including BlackRock’s bitcoin ETF and CME crypto futures, has launched CFB Oracle to provide its pricing data to blockchain applications. The service covers crypto and traditional assets, enabling developers to build tokenized portfolios, onchain funds, lending products and derivatives without creating their own pricing systems. It is live on Ethereum, HyperEVM and Robinhood Chain, with more networks planned. Prices are digitally signed and distributed at the same frequency to all customers. Payward plans to use the service for a U.S. perpetual futures product, pending regulatory approval. CFB Oracle competes with established providers such as Chainlink and Pyth, and supplies prices rather than issuing funds or executing trades.
