Coinbase is pulling Loopring trading today – finding a safe place to sell LRC tokens is getting complicated

Summary

Coinbase plans to suspend LRC-USD trading around 2 p.m. ET on Aug. 7 across Coinbase.com Simple and Advanced Trade, Coinbase Exchange, and Coinbase Prime. If completed, customer balances would remain accessible and withdrawals would still be allowed, but Coinbase’s dollar market for LRC would disappear. As of the notice, LRC-USD was still in limit-only mode and the suspension had not been confirmed complete. Loopring’s own exchange is no longer a fallback: its DEX has shut down, the relayer is offline, and the project said it returned about $7.4 million in ETH and 72 ERC-20 tokens to 31,644 Ethereum mainnet addresses, with a manual recovery deadline for excluded smart-wallet cases. Other venues still showed LRC markets, including Kraken and OKX U.S. pages, but actual access depends on deposit, network, and jurisdiction support. Reported liquidity was concentrated and uneven, with LRC around $0.0103 and roughly $3.53 million in 24-hour volume.
