The company now holds around 471,107 BTC, valued at roughly $30.4 billion, representing over 2% of the total Bitcoin supply. MicroStrategy aims to increase its holdings beyond 500,000 BTC and plans to sell $250 million in perpetual preferred stock with an 8% fixed coupon to finance this strategy. The company has raised capital through various methods, targeting $42 billion by 2027. MicroStrategy will redeem over $1 billion of its 0% Convertible Senior Notes due in 2027 on February 24 to enhance financial flexibility. It has received shareholder approval to increase authorized shares from 330 million to 10.3 billion, supporting future equity offerings. The firm maintains a strong liquidity position and intends to retain its Bitcoin holdings without selling to meet interest obligations.
