Crypto ETFs Surge as Bitcoin Funds Add $2.95 Billion in 30 Days

Summary

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have had a strong month, taking in $2.95 billion over the past 30 days and extending an eight-day inflow streak. Monday was the weakest day of the run, with $31.07 million in net inflows. BlackRock’s IBIT added $54.84 million, while Grayscale’s GBTC lost $23.19 million and Fidelity’s FBTC lost $10.90 million. The streak began after a rough period on Sept. 15, when Bitcoin ETFs saw a $450.4 million outflow tied to the Senate’s failed vote on the Clarity Act. That week ended with only $6.2 million in Bitcoin ETF inflows, the smallest weekly total in 141 weeks. Buying then returned sharply, including nearly $1 billion on Sept. 21 and $715 million on Sept. 22, leading to about $2.4 billion for the week. Bitcoin’s rise above $81,722 put the average ETF holder back in profit for the first time since January, with Bitcoin above $84,000 on Monday. Ethereum, Solana, and XRP funds also saw strong inflows.
