Crypto holders face an Aug 27 deadline to save 21 tokens before Kraken liquidates them into thin order books

Summary

Kraken holders of 21 delisted tokens must withdraw balances by 14:00 UTC on Aug. 27, after which remaining funds will be subject to automatic liquidation. Kraken plans to sell leftover balances between Sept. 1 and Sept. 5, based on market conditions, and clients will no longer control the timing of those sales. The exchange warned that several of the affected tokens have limited or inactive markets, so liquidation could occur at prices well below recent references and may return little or nothing if liquidity is insufficient. The delisted assets are AURA, BIT, BOND, BSX, FARM, GARI, K, KET, KINTO, LOBO, MOON, MV, NYM, RAIIN, RHEA, SAROS, SDN, SPC, SPICE, TEA and TEER. TEER is further restricted: trading and funding are already paused because the project has ceased operations, and on-chain transfers will not process.
