Esports Team Ninjas in Pyjamas Mines $14 Million in Bitcoin as Operation Expands
NIP Group Inc., parent of Ninjas in Pyjamas esports team, mined about 151.4 Bitcoin (worth $14.5 million) in its first three months of Bitcoin mining operations from September to November. The company aims to produce about 140 BTC per month ($13.5 million), updating a prior target of 160 BTC. Its mining capacity currently stands at 9.66 EH/s, ranking among the top 20 publicly traded U.S. Bitcoin miners and largest in the MENA region, with plans to reach 11.3 EH/s soon. Mining equipment was acquired from various sellers by issuing over 314 million Class A shares. NIP Group focuses on maximizing Bitcoin holdings and hash rate, selling Bitcoin only when market conditions are advantageous. The company, known mainly for its esports and gaming ventures, now positions itself at the intersection of digital assets and gaming, with future expansion possible into AI infrastructure. Its stock recently traded at $1.10 and is down 54% over the past six months.
